Being visited quite a few towns/cities in England and Scotland, there is one thing which stands out in common in all these places. Irrespective of the size of the place – be it a small village/town or a big city, one get to see a memorial rememebring the fallen heroes of the wars – World War I or World War II.

This one was at just outside the entrance to Balmoral castle in Aberdeenshire.
